The Press Operator primary focus is to deliver digital printing expertise at large scale. You are a creative problem-solver who never tires with the thrill of getting things just right to make a high-quality product. Your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are your strength, but you also love to learn and share your knowledge with others. Staying positive, going the extra mile, and thinking up better ways to do things all come naturally to you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver daily output and volume of custom stickers and labels following the Digital Print process
- Set up and operate multi color HP Digital Indigo press equipment
- Complete job order intake paperwork, job tracking and accurate frame counts
- Understand and produce customer job order instructions and specifications
- Review all proofs and final product samples produced
- Maintain quality and manufacturing standards in accordance with company practices
- Conduct routine press maintenance, troubleshoot issues, mechanical problems and color variance
- Cross-train other team members on HP Digital Indigo press
- Learn to operate multiple machines within manufacturing workflow to deepen team capacity
- Maintain a safe workplace by following safety rules, use safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to Safety Team and/or your Manufacturing Supervisor
- Observe, gather data and suggest ideas for continuous improvement
- Other duties may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Completion of High School education or equivalent
- 2-3 years digital printing press operator experience for large-scale printing applications
- HP Digital Indigo experience preferred
- Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures
- Basic math skills and superb attention to detail and product quality
- Excellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time on a daily basis
- Interest and ability to grow professionally with support from StickerGiant
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hours
- Able to use a computer, keyboard, phone
- Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 lbs
- Able to lift up to and above 50 lbs with machine assistance
- Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation
- Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks

- Architecting the stickiest of software solutions. If it doesn't "stick" with our users, it's back to the drawing board!

TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Work collaboratively with our engineering team to build the best-in-class experiences for external customers, internal customers, and for our own engineers (DevX)
- Contribute to architecture discussions (all engineers collectively own our architecture) around microservices that power our engineering systems
- Design, implement, and refactor exciting industry leading frontend & backend experiences for our users & developers
- Troubleshoot production issues wherever they happen
- Review and discuss code being developed by the team at large and provide feedback around best practices
- Takes on ownership of a suite of microservices that are our most critical for business success
- Can confidently work on most of the codebases we have/create

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience being a powerhouse engineer in strongly typed languages

- Firm understanding of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for implementation and execution of email strategies across the customer journey
- Manage day-to-day email campaigns in alignment with the promotional calendar

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive paid search and retargeting campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring cohesion between our paid promotions and other marketing collateral

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
