Resource Label Group is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team! This individual will be tasked with generating new sales opportunities and adding qualified leads to the sales funnel. The BDR will manage inbound and outbound requests, schedule meetings and prepare sales team members for interactions with key decision makers for prospective clients. The BDR will utilize a variety of software applications to research target companies and execute outbound call and email campaigns. The BDR will also collaborate with multiple teams within Resource Label Group to provide service that drives the business forward and assist sales team members in achieving their goals. This role is a terrific launchpad for a career in sales, marketing or customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers in collaboration with leadership and sales team members
  • Use all available resources to research prospective customers and their team members
  • Schedule meetings and calls with prospective customers to meet desired metrics
  • Use Salesforce CRM to maintain pipeline data, track activities, pull reports and update records
  • Prepare Sales Representatives for interactions with prospective customers by providing acquired data, insights and relevant prospect information
  • Work closely with sales leaders on strategies to target & secure new customers and revive former customers
  • Participate in regular BDR training and development sessions
  • Special projects as needed in support of the sales team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • 2-3+ years of work experience within sales or customer-facing positions
  • Ability to analyze data to anticipate or quickly identify problems and work cross-functionally to deliver solutions
  • Strong technology skills a must, with experience in CRM and Marketing Automation tools
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adjust communication style based on audience
  • Ability to respond quickly to customer needs, changing demands, processes, and evolving business needs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Print and/or packaging industry experience is preferred, but not required
