The Die Cutter is responsible for operating and maintaining die cutting machinery to produce precise and high-quality packaging materials according to customer specifications.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Set up, operate, and maintain die cutting machinery to produce packaging materials such as boxes, cartons, and labels.
  • Interpret job orders and customer specifications to ensure accurate production of die cut materials. Monitor machinery during operation to ensure adherence to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance on die cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance to minimize downtime. Inspect finished products for defects, such as incomplete cuts or misaligned designs, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and meet customer deadlines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Die Cutter or similar role in a printing and packaging manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain die cutting machinery effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise and high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to operating machinery.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
