Pharmaceutic Litho & Label, an RLG Company, is seeking a Sales Executive to join their sales team in the West Coast. Sales Executives are responsible for developing new customers, maintaining, and strengthening long-term client relationships, meeting and exceeding print revenue goals and assisting to the overall success of the company.

 

This position requires the ability to think strategically while solving complex problems and offering solutions to clients that solve business and product marketing needs. The ideal candidate will have a successful sales track record and possess a style that promotes trust and respect among employees and clients. In addition to selling to new customers, the Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining business needs with current customers.

 

Successful Sales Executives will sell the services of Pharmaceutic Litho & Label which includes an emphasis on Pharmaceutical commercial printing and packaging and associated sheetfed (UV & conventional) offset printing, flexo, direct mail services, fulfillment and kitting, digital, print-on-demand, and technology related solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads: based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Develop tactical plans to maintain and expand services with existing and assigned accounts.  
  • Act as a liason between customer and organization throughout the sales and production process. Maintain regular contact with customers to answer questions and provide information regarding new products, capabilities, and services.
  • Develops and delivers presentations, conducts facility tours.
  • Establish high-level relationships and gain a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements.
  • Manages RFP process and coordinates internal resources to develop quote prices and credit terms.
  • Assists in developing and implanting the contract process.
  • Provides regular reporting to management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
  • Updates and maintains sales activity, as well as customer and prospect information within Salesforce CRM.
  • Works with the Operations, Customer Service and Estimating / Planning Teams to keep account activities and customer expectations met.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews. 
  • Forecast and meet monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

  • New business development skills.
  • Self-starter who aspires for success (not just monetary rewards) with an entrepreneurial edge.
  • Experience working on both small and large pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Able to converse fluently at all contact levels within an organization (from Entry Level to Owners).
  • Possess strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and the ability to close sales.
  • Excellent presentation, organization, verbal and written communication.
  • Must subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self-motivated.
  • Ability to apply market knowledge relative to competition, market share, opportunities, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing trends, pricing and competitive programs.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • High degree of organization required in order to manage internal and external clients.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers or talks with customers by phone.

 

Required Experience

  • Relevant packaging and print industry experience, pharmaceutical sales required.
  • A minimum of three years outside B2B sales experience, preferably in print and/or direct marketing.
  • Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel in local and/or national territory.
