We are currently recruiting for an Outside Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team at RLG Franklin! A successful candidate will ideally be located in the Southeastern US and comfortable travelling to clients within those states. This key role will work to improve RLG’s market position and achieve financial growth. The Sales Representative will build key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This individual will focus on three key areas: New Business Development, Customer Retention and Account Planning. This role is highly collaborative as it requires interaction with various staff throughout the organization, both internal and external.


  • Prospect and develop new business through strategic prospecting.
  • Develop tactical plans to maintain and expand services with existing and assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identify new customers and new project opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and organization throughout the sales and production process.
  • Establish high-level relationships and gain a clear understanding of customers’ business and requirements.
  • Provides regular reporting to management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
  • Updates and maintains sales activity, as well as customer and prospect information within Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to answer questions and provide information regarding new products, capabilities, and services.
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews.
  • Forecast and meet monthly and annual sales targets.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience within printing, packaging or folding carton required, label experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must display a thorough knowledge of printing. 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to resolve problems. 
  • Must have positive demeanor and work well with customers and company employees.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time as required.
  • Some travel required within a local market (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
